I speak English and I am trying to learn French and Korean. What is the best way to learn other languages?
Roy: Learn the languages that are a little bit similar to your language.
Me: That's good advice, but Korean and English aren't so similar, like Japanese and English aren't so similar. So how can André learn Korean?
Roy: Find a Korean person and ask them to be your teacher.
Me: Any other advice for André?
Roy: Read lots of books in those languages.
[Adam's note: My sister was born in Korea, too. She was adopted by my parents when she was three years old. (I was five at the time.) She spoke Korean when she first came to the United States, but quickly lost her Korean ability and now speaks only English.]
Here I am, helping my little sister tie her shoes. (But I wasn't always such a kind brother...)
Thank you for your question, André! Roy and I wish you all the best at learning French and Korean! Keep trying, day by day, and you'll definitely make progress!

Marisa: "Victory moment:" My almost 4-year-old daughter told me yesterday in the ml (rough translation): "mom, there's something wrong with the cartoons, can you fix it, please?"... she was accidentally watching TV in the ML! So I gladly obliged

Mayken: My daughter found the secret stash of ml books I'd bought at the closure sale of the ml book store two months ago and hidden away for later. Guess it's a good time for new books now, right?

Caro C.: My baby (16mo) perfectly knows what "hi5" means and readily shows her hand even when we are not showing our hand first. It feels like the first minor blossom of the bilingual seed.
