How to keep up the momentum

Just a quick update:
Picking up my daughter in the ml country was quick an act as at the last minute, rules changed and I needed to get tested to go. But with my negative test result, I felt much better about going to see my mom (who is a high-risk person). I copied all the photos and videos since Christmas onto her tablet (she only uses the internet to skype with us), and she was delighted by my daughter's book presentations and book reviews. Hopefully that'll motivate my daughter to do some more, even though we don't know when granny can see them.
School started two days after we got back, and my daughter now has two different ml teachers, the one she had last year (who is going to do the fun stuff) and the one she'll have next year in middle school (who does the boring stuff). She says both are nice. I've only met them briefly at the parent-teacher info meeting last week. I'm parents rep again for the ml class, but given we have no events to plan this year, I'm not sure how much I'll actually have to do.
The kids will have to do at least two presentations during the school year, one of which will be a book presentation.
There are two new kids in her ml class, the one who is also in her ML class seems to have come directly from the ML country, as the father said during the P/T meeting something about "last year in her school in ml country" (which made me dead jealous right away).
I hope I'll get to know the new parents despite the lack of parent-involving events.
My daughter got a spot in the ml homework club, so most of her ml homework is done there. One parent said because of that she hardly ever gets to see her son's ml homework. The teachers promised to have the kids take all workbooks and notebooks etc. home for the holidays so we can see what they're doing.
Reading-wise, my daughter is nearing the end of the five-book series that are her home run books. I got her the first book of a series Marta recommended as a follow-up, and she's looking forward to discovering it.
